Sleep has eluded me once again..

Usually I would post this under Ethan's blog, but I wanted to keep this blog running too.

For the last two nights sleep has been really rough..last night was because of coffee and tonight...well I have no clue why I can't sleep.

Tomorrow my mom my sister and Bruce will be here to see/ spend time with Ethan and also participate in a second photo shoot being offered to me by the hospital's media team (they did Ethan's first shoot and I was amazed at how good the pictures turned out.)

I think that I am trying to be strong but it's hard...and I don't know how I am going to cope with everything that is going to be happening in the next few days.

On Saturday my dad and Denise took me out because I wanted to start a shadow box for Ethan (haven't found the right box yet.) I got pampered and it felt good just to be non stressed for awhile ( I called and checked on Ethan at least 5 different times)


Sunday I just vegged out and spent the day at the hospital as Denise wasn't feeling to good..dad came and stayed with us for a little while which was good..I held my sweet boy today and we just kinda relaxed with each other, he was very calm and slept the entire time.

I will be giving my mom my sister and Bruce time with Ethan tomorrow and I am going over to Ronald Mcdonald House to do laundry and other things that need to be done. I have had every moment up til now with him and I think that it would be nice for them to be Ethan.

Well I am going to try to lay down and sleep now....Will update later.

I miss my boys

I haven't updated this blog in awhile and I feel I have to update a little as things are very private right now.

Charles and Connor are doing very good with Bruce and I miss them lots and can't wait to see them.

I am slowly holding on to reality and with the new meds I am taking I hope to get better soon.

Time for some updates...

Charles is doing good in school and is now eating pudding at school!! ( for those who know my oldest this is a very big deal!) We went to get the prescription for his AFO'S now all we have to do is wait for Hanger Prosthetics to come and fit him for his new AFO'S.

He is progressing well in school and can even read short stories!


Connor is doing fantastic and has new words... he says bye bye bye when we leave or someone leaves the room and says go-go(super new word for him!)

He is my stocky little boy and is such a mini me it's not even funny.


In just 4 days (almost) we will be welcoming the newwest addition Ethan ( that is if we make it that far which I am hoping we will. He has Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome and will require 3 surgeries by the time he is 5 years old. I will be in Akron with him for at least a month or so (hopefully less if he does great.
